1) Do You Need One?
Hospital adjustable beds are excellent for seniors who:
- need to raise the head and/or foot of bed to sleep or sit comfortably
- who have difficulty getting into and out of bed as they raise/lower as well as have optional bed rails
- require care aides/nurses to provide care in bed - which is easier to do if the bed can be raised up

2) Where To Put It?
Once you've decided that a hospital bed is the best option, you need to decide where to put it. You will need enough space as well as an electrical outlet or extension cord.

It will help you stay organized as well as hold the sales person to their quote. At the same time, ask if there are any discounts available.
6) Don't Like The Way They Look?

7) Used Market
It's always a good idea to check the local used equipment market. If you do not feel comfortable buying a used mattress (although many have waterproof covers to keep them clean and hygienic), you could still buy the frame and get a new mattress.
This will save money for other items such as over the bed tables, transfer poles or a new walker.
